Well when you are losing troops at an unbelievable clip are and still being pushed back farther and farther it can provide some clarity.

Ritter believes that the General’s really bizarre decision to bring up the Finnish General’s defeat speech was Zaluzhny’s attempt to provide an excuse for Ukraine’s defeat. If the West had only given him 300 more tanks, 800 infantry fighting vehicles, 500 fresh guns and more troops he might have had a chance to win.

Another interesting point Ritter made is when you are freezing and fighting under horrible conditions and then find out your wife and kids are freezing, too, it destroys morale. The morale of the Ukrainian troops is very bad right now.

It is an interesting thought on who has the morale? I don’t see Russian conscripts having any sort of morale fighting on foreign soil. And despite the miserable conditions for the Ukrainians I see them having good morale fighting an invading force
