Well when you are losing troops at an unbelievable clip are and still being pushed back farther and farther it can provide some clarity.

It is an interesting thought on who has the morale? I don’t see Russian conscripts having any sort of morale fighting on foreign soil. And despite the miserable conditions for the Ukrainians I see them having good morale fighting an invading force
