Yeah, unlike in the 70’s when the weathermen massively undersold storms and you genuinely didn’t know how bad it would be.

In the 70's, they didn't have the technology, and also we did not have the over the top winter storm warnings.

Tornado warnings are another thing, and important.

Detroit had a weatherman named Sonny Elliott. He was more of a comedian and had fun with the weather instead of STORM TEAM 4 and their eight forecasts every half hour.

He was also an American hero who spent 18 months as a POW after being shot down in WWII
