ransomnote: This video describes a grain supply chain issues with the country's main rail freight hub which have now worsened as a result of Union Pacific's railway embargo.
ALL Shipments STOPPED -MAIN Artery for USA - Railways SHUT DOWN - Cars PILING UP | Patrick Humphrey
Grain shipments had already been backing up (not delivered) since October (see chart).
Now as of December 29, Union Pacific has announced an embargo which will deepen the supply chain problem with grain.

The following excerpt sounds like "14 days to flatten the curve....
Here's a map of the Union Pacific hub impacted by the embargo; it will impact regions as far south as New Orleans:
It’s crazy alright, I feel like I’ve been living in the Twilight Zone for the past couple of years.
Heard from a Minnesotan. They’re expecting ice and up to a foot of snow. Already been messy over Christmas weekend and before. That’ll slow down lots of stuff.
Hopefully they’ve stored enough grain to feed for a while.

Ten Reasons Why Conservatives should support transit

Over 35 million Americans rely on some form of public tansportation to commute to work every weekday.
If that makes them “marxist” in your worldview, then I suggest that you refrain from hanging out with the whacknut libertarians. They obviously have been a bad influence on you.

The time to get your preps in order was Nov 4, 2020.
What about all the Mex trucks allowed into the US. I’m sure they are the latest and greatest models.
**What about all the Mex trucks...**

Willie Green: a blast from the past.
The people that got laid off because there was no product to ship noticed.
Yes, I figured the situation was something like that. Having lived most of my life in small-town railroad burgs, I was curious as to what was happening in your locale, and appreciate your response.
Union Pacific invested close to a billion dollars to add another line in that area because of the amount of traffic but when fuel prices are low, shippers prefer trucking but when fuel prices climb, railroads can ship cheaper than trucking but you can’t have folks making $100k a year sitting around doing nothing & getting paid.
So they get laid off along with the office support staff & then Diaper Joe doubles cost of fuel & everyone wants to resume shipping via railroad. I’ve read that each engine can pull 200 cars. Each engine usually has two people aboard & like I said, they parked close to 60 engines. Knew a handful of office folks that got let go & now getting begged to come back.
Plus the railroads are losing a lot of traffic with shutting down of coal fired electric plants.
Fine. Stop shipping anything whatsoever by truck INTO California.
How long before California applies those rules to privately owned passenger cars and light trucks?
This country of ours has been in a clear, rapid decline since Soebarkah was allowed to usurp the Presidency in plain view and put in place their people and infrastructure in our government to "fundamentally change" our country.
They've been highly successful while most of the fence sitters, a-political types and garden variety ignoramuses have been asleep at the entertainment/device/govt' freebee wheel.
Trump, being at the top of the govt food chain momentarily, was one of a small handful who, while simultaneously fighting the rest of the government juggernaut who tried to oust him like we're some third world s&*$ hole, tried to at least slow it down to a degree.
The work to fix this nightmare gets more and more difficult with each passing bill/"law."
And the "several states" aren't doing much of anything to help either (ex. fix their corrupted election processes that enables this, etc).
Yeah, 2023 is going to be a rough ride.
