That is interesting. Is it because of glycogen release from the liver that the blood sugar goes up?
TBH I cant recall, but I think it has to do with the body firing up the sugar levels in anticipation of a new day of activity. It happens closer after 3:00 AM or so hence the name “dawn effect” You can google the term and learn more.
