Chances are it’s drugs of one sort or another......and I include gambling under the drugs umbrella.

Gamblers are worse than druggies. Druggies usually dir after some years. Sad but at least they don’t terrorize their families any more. Gamblers go on for decades harming everyone they interact with. I’ve known several. Nothing but trouble.
