Fears about the 'Kraken' Covid variant might be overblown, experts warned today as data showed it's not spreading as quickly as first feared.
XBB.1.5 — a spin-off of Omicron — is thought to be the most transmissible strain yet.
Its emergence stoked concerns that it was getting through vaccine-induced immunity after it triggered a 'stunning increase' in cases in the US, where it was first detected.

I was trying to think of a situation where that’s what one would see…
None of the Covid variants are or have been deadly... Just like the original variant wasn’t deadly. This entire fear and mongering business is becoming very tiresome and tedious... Covid is over and has been over since mid to late 2021 when it infected and affected most of its victims, 95% of whom were sickly and 70+ years old and older. Young healthy people have nothing to worry about and the vast majority of people have nothing to worry about. Even sickly people often survive Covid and all of its variants. Period!
It really is time to move on from this nonsense.

getting through vaccine-induced immunity, ya think! I know more heavily vaxxed people who have gotten covid several times until now, they are calling it LONG COVID now. Young athletes dying from heart attacks, vaxxed people getting covid more than the non vaxxed, people with cancers that have been in remission now being accelerated.
Dont say anything or they will put you in jail and ruin your life and family. Think somethings going on here?

I think healthcare workers are catching onto the scam and not participating after getting forced with the vax themselves so they are going to have to come up with a more deadly variant to make it real this time

Related to that, this explosion of cases in China should be instructive. The virus should flame out quickly there and soon. It’s running out of hosts.
Plenty of cases around me, but most of them are younger people. They suffered without seeing doctors for a week or two and went back to work a little more feeble.
