Newsom and his cronies will find ways to squander this in order to perpetuate the public’s hardships.

In the 1990s, the Climate Cretins claimed that by now there would be ZERO snow in the Sierra Nevada...

I hope they save most of it. Let the reservoirs fill now, don’t let the water out for any stupid reason. Screw the Snail darter.

A responsible government would have been building more reservoirs over the last 20 years. Unfortunately, the Democrat Party is in charge.

It’s similar in Colorado. When droughts break, they don’t mess around, they break big.

The California Reservoir system hold enough water for 5 years assuming NO RAIN.

I got $100 says they are empty in 2 years

In 1975 they told the Ice Age was eminent and we would all be under a mile of ICE by now

Always forever a drought.

It’s good no matter what “they” do. Recharges the soil, the aquifers, the natural lakes and the reservoirs that are left. It’s fabulous to see it hitting all over the west. My area is at 127%.

There’s def. been a drought but these huge snowfalls will fill up many reservoirs (at least in Utah).

The drought is getting worse! Of course, it may be because California has disastrous policies regarding water.

They panic if there is not enough snow-pack and they complain if there is too much. Decades ago there were lakes built to catch that melting snow to save for future use, along with dams they could use to control the flow of water. I understand many of those dams have been removed, and more are scheduled to be destroyed, thus reducing the amount of water saved and used from the snow.
