Oh good God.
I do wonder if this man will be charged. They could use the “he was leaving” and “in the back” reasoning.
BUT, he still wasn’t out of the store. It’s possible the thug could’ve turned around or continued his circuit to get more money and maybe hurt someone.
The cash register was at the door. The perp was going to rob the cashier
It appeared he was headed towards the guy in the back left corner of the restaurant by the door.
With that being said, I'm surprised he didn't dash out the door when the thug started robbing folks. Probably just stunned with surprise and disbelief.
