I’m just going to toss in here that many Bluetooth speakers and headphones are not all that loud even with the conventional Windows controls cranked up, and then some sources (some You Tube vids, for example) are not particularly loud either. (Note that better dynamic range often means less average volume attainable if the equipment’s “peak volume” / clip level is modest.)
I suspect many Bluetooth headphones and speakers limit gain so to protect themselves from damage and / or extend battery life. I think I went through 3 Bluetooth heaphones before I found one (a cheapy) that could be turned up far enough for lower volume YouTube vids. And I’m not a volume freak...
