Seems like freedom of speech to me.
Has anyone tried a “Allahu Akbar” shirt? It’s basically the same concept — “My god is greater than your god” kind of thing. But the mall is probably afraid to shut that one out.
Offending a bunch of Somali Muslims, no doubt.
Lowest IQ people on the planet and we import a city full of them.
I don’t think a $5 hour Paul Blart has the synaptic wherewithal to make any determination along these lines. Stick to shop lifters and purse snatchers
Sounds to me like this guy wasn’t removed because of his shirt, but because he has a history of proselytizing at the Mall and had been removed/asked to leave many times before because of it.
Obviously, media can’t get stories accurate to save their lives, but certainly seems like this guy had been informed and asked to leave before for doing things against the mall’s rules.
Whether I agree with those rules or not... this doesn’t appear to be a case of just some random person walking in with a Jesus saves shirt and being asked to leave because of it, but someone who has come into the property multiple times to proselytize and been explained why he couldn’t and removed on more than one occasion.
The truth is prohibited in America.
Now cheaters, sodomites and liars are encouraged
The customer wearing this shirt may have just hit the civil rights lawsuit jackpot. By admitting that he was acting on the basis of the customer’s religious beliefs, the security guard has openly violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as it is applied (wrongly, in my opinion — but that’s another matter) to “public accommodations.”
Banning a customer from a shopping mall for religious reasons is no different than banning black people from a restaurant.
Mall of Amerikka
These “other shoppers” wouldn’t have names like “Mohammed” or anything, would they?
So much for Minnesota nice. Where did all the Scandinavian Lutherans go?
Jesus really gets some people worked up.
That’s a big old lawsuit he could be filing. A mall is a place of public accommodation and therefore bound by all federal anti-discrimination laws, which specifically forbid discrimination based on religion.
But Mao Lenin Stalin T-shirts are okay.
Jesus offended a lot of people. So many that he was murdered. These guards need some quiet time with Jesus to get themselves right before their time runs out.
