Washington Examiner ^ | 01-17-2023 | John G Malcolm & Charles Cully

What do we know — so far, at least — about the Biden classified documents situation?

The information provided to the public has come from people who work for, or are otherwise close to, President Joe Biden and has been filtered selectively through a media largely predisposed to protect the president.

Tis is just a distraction from Hunter’s laptops and 10% for the Big Guy.

That’s where the true crimes lie, and that’s why they never acknowledge any of it.

It’s been reported that the University of Pennsylvania received more than **$30 million** in donations from anonymous Chinese donors shortly after the Penn Biden Center was established in 2017.

Big money buys big secrets we may be in more trouble than we know.

What if it was the Chinese who reported the location of the classified documents to the DoJ? Perhaps the Biden Crime Family is no longer useful to the Chinese, so they blew the whistle on Brandon.

Nobody is answering anything. Karine refers reporters to the WH lawyers, they refer to the DOJ, DOJ refers to the special counsel, SC says they don’t comment.

Can’t wait for Jim Jordan to demand answers and they will sit there and say nothing.

Actually, the Penn-Xiden center has received > $60MM since 2017 including $14MM SINCE XIDEN HAS OCCUPIED THE WHITE HOUSE. Xiden is a sellout and gives an entirely new meaning to the term “garage sale.”

They will indeed, as they will in all the other investigations they will conduct. I think in the next months, hundreds of people will take the 5th, in the hearings. Why wouldn’t they?

On the contrary, instead of being a distraction it creates new avenues and new rationale for expedited and aggressive Congressional investigation. Even if the documents have nothing to do with anything corruption related, the appearances are enough.

Now we hear Hunter was reportedly paying $50k a month in rent to his father. Possible way of funneling cash to the intended recipient while creating a real flimsy paper trail of plausible deniability.

Archives said they have no idea what documents could be missing. So I imagine there are a lot of Hunter Docs missing. And do we really know they are from the Obama era? They could be from the Obama era to the present.

It is generally conceded that after January 20, 2017, Biden, unlike the presidents before him, was no longer authorized to possess classified documents. Yet, the evidence is that took (stole by legal definition) at least several classified documents and has been in possession of and carelessly handled these documents since January 20, 2017. Three separate violations of federal statutes (theft, possession, handling), he’s violated.

The difference between DJT and FJB is that an ex-POTUS can be indicted, but a sitting POTUS can not.

Makes you wonder how the DOJ will handle this . . .

UPenn Can’t Explain Mystery Donation From Chinese Company
Washington Free Bacon ^ | AUGUST 3, 2020 | Alana Goodman
Posted on 8/5/2020, 4:44:03 PM by Rebelbase

The University of Pennsylvania pocketed a $3 million donation last year from a mysterious Hong Kong shell company that is owned by a Shanghai businessman with deep ties to Chinese government officials.

The donation from Xu Xeuqing, who has no apparent connection to the University of Pennsylvania and was previously embroiled in a Shanghai public corruption scandal, raises questions about the true source of the money. Documents reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show Xeuqing has close ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

China has poured money into American universities in recent years, in part to buy influence on campuses, experts say. The donation comes as federal prosecutors have increased scrutiny on the Chinese government’s influence-buying and espionage operations at American universities.

“Unequivocally they’re using the money they’re providing the universities to garner influence there,” said Ben Freeman, the director of the Foreign Influence Transparency Initiative at the Center for International Policy. “It’s not the sole motive, but it’s one of a variety of motives.”

Foreign money has poured into the school over the past few years with a significant portion coming from China. The Ivy League school received $61 million in gifts and contracts from China between March 2017 and the end of 2019; over the previous four year period, it took in just $19 million from Chinese donors.

The University of Pennsylvania received the $3 million in question from a Hong Kong-based company called “Nice Famous Corporation Limited,” according to financial disclosures.

<><>DOJ looking into why Hunter Biden was financially tied to a Chinese energy company
<><>New evidence indicates Hunter got $4.8M from CEFC China Energy
By KELLY MCCLURE

The investigation into Hunter Biden’s financial dealings is ramping up, with potentially condemning new evidence discovered that ties President Biden’s son to a Chinese energy conglomerate named CEFC China Energy.

In a review published by The Washington Post today they detail that over the course of 14-months CEFC China Energy paid $4.8 million “to entities controlled by Hunter Biden and his uncle.” Evidence to this fact was landed upon with the use of government records, court documents, newly available bank statements and emails pulled from a copy of a hard drive from a laptop believed to have once belonged to Hunter Biden, according to The Washington Post.

Although the new evidence does not indicate that President Biden was personally involved in these CEFC dealings, or that he benefitted from them in any way, there is evidence that Hunter Biden leveraged his father’s influence, and contacts President Biden has made over the years, for his own financial gain.

Among the newly discovered materials is a $1 million legal retainer signed by Hunter Biden for the representation of a CEFC official named Patrick Ho “who would later be charged in the United States in connection with a multimillion-dollar scheme to bribe leaders from Chad and Uganda,” according to The Washington Post.

Hunter Biden has been under federal tax investigation since 2018, specifically in relation to income obtained from business deals with China, but nothing solid has come from it until around 2020.

Along with the large sum of money received from CEFC, evidence has revealed that Hunter Biden was also gifted a 2.8-carat diamond from Chinese energy tycoon Ye Jianming. The diamond, which Hunter claimed was only worth around $10,000, but is actually valued at more along the lines of $80K, was brought up in the divorce proceedings between Hunter and ex-wife Kathleen Buhle, according to The New Yorker.

The diamond was reportedly given to Hunter in 2017 when Hunter met with Jianming in Miami hoping to get his donation to the World Food Program USA nonprofit that Hunter was a board member of. During a dinner that took place on that trip, Hunter offered to use his contacts to nail down investment opportunities for CEFC China Energy and Jianming was so pleased with this, according to The New Yorker, he sent the diamond to Hunter’s hotel room as a gift of appreciation.

“I knew it wasn’t a good idea to take it. I just felt like it was weird,” Hunter said to The New Yorker, claiming to have handed it off to an associate.

Two weeks after the U of Pennsylvania made a gargantuan $100 million contribution to the School District of Philadelphia, it’s unlikely the cash infusion will inspire copycat donations from major higher education peers in the city. When Ivy League Penn made its announcement, City Council member Helen Gym and others voiced hope that other universities with large landholdings, like Temple or Drexel, might also pony up. “I certainly hope that some of our strongest civic institutions can see beyond their individual acts of charity and generosity,” “When universities and our major nonprofits, who have long been invested in education and public health, unite on a mission to invest in our schools, we send a clear message to Harrisburg and to Washington, D.C. that we are invested in our future.” (Excerpt) Read more at whyy.org ...

Biden Center Under Investigation for Illegal Donations From China
DB Daily Update | David Blackmon / FR Posted on 5/25/2020, 9:19:56 AM by EyesOfTX

If the label says “Biden,” it was definitely influenced by China. – John Solomon at JustTheNews.com is reporting that The National Legal and Policy Center has asked the U.S. Department of Education to investigate its findings that the University of Pennsylvania (Penn) has over the past several years accepted more than $22 million in anonymous China-originated donations to its Biden Center and failed to properly disclose the contributions.

From Solomon’s report: The complaint, filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, says that over the past three years, the university has (admitted to accepting around) $22 million in anonymous funding from Chinese sources. That’s out of a total of more than $70 million from Chinese donors during that time, the NLPC said.

Those significant funds, including the anonymous amounts, rolled in after the Biden Center was announced in early 2017 and launched in February 2018. The center is located in downtown Washington, D.C. Federal records show that the University of Pennsylvania has received significant donations from Communist China since the opening of the Biden Center.

One 2018 donation alone totals $14.5 million; it is listed as “anonymous” in federal records. The NLPC alleges the university may have violated federal law in accepting those anonymous monetary donations from Communist China. The Higher Education Act mandates schools report the national origins of any donations above $250,000 although not necessarily the individual names of donors themselves. [End]

This serves as just one more reminder that Biden, his son (and his brother) have long been in the pockets of Communist Chinese interests. The stark reality facing our country today is that of the gains President Donald Trump has made through the sheer force of his will in terms of U.S./China relations and trade policy will be immediately reversed the day after Biden assumes office.

KEEP IN MIND.....virtually all U.S. antibiotics and PPE are sourced through China at some point along their supply chains....... There are trillions of dollars at stake, and Creepy Uncle Joe wants to ensure his family continues to get its fair share out of Communist China.

ARE THE WALLS CLOSING IN ON BIDEN?

........ journalists are super curious to know how those classified documents got into Joe’s garage.

I mean, the guy had a think tank office at his disposal in D.C. Moreover, the initial documents were alleged to have been discovered before midterms, and yet we’re only hearing about new ones months later — and in convenient dribs and drabs.

Soon after CBS’s initial story, a four-byline puff piece from CNN reported that the documents found in the think tank were related to Ukraine, Iran and the U.K., so not just keepsakes and letters and such.

This week, we also learned, in another soft-peddled report by The New York Times, that Biden, despite his insistence that he knew nothing about his son Hunter’s foreign entanglements, had met with a liaison from the Ukrainian energy interest Burisma, among many other revelations. Recall, Obama officials had also raised concerns about the Biden family business.

Is there any chance those Ukrainian documents would have been embarrassing to the president? Seems a reasonable question.

What’s important now, we’re going to be instructed, is that Biden “immediately” contacted the authorities and is fully “cooperating.”

Is it possible, and I’m just theorizing here, that Biden and his aides are lying? For one thing, cooperating is fine, but it’s not everything. Trump has every right to hire a lawyer and fight the Archives over documents.

Maybe he’s got a case, maybe he doesn’t.
