The entire culture has been moving left since the 1960s. So many Professional Conservatives were waffling on gay marriage in the early 2000s, and supporting it by 2010.
I watched that documentary about Mr.Rogers. I was expected some “dark secret” to come out about him but it seems like he was just as nice off the air as he was on tv.
