I loved PF both with Waters, and without him. A Momentary Lapse of Reason and the Division Bell are as good as any other PF albums IMO....and yes, the sound and style are still very distinctly the Floyd.

Agree 100% with all of it. There was some great music in the 60s but that’s about it. Everything the 60s radicals stood for was crap.

They were unrealistic, foolish, ungrateful little shits who scorned the peace, freedom and prosperity their parents’ generation built for them at great cost. Notice that when they finally got control of a lot of the institutions, they were a million times more oppressive, more censorious and more totalitarian than anything they ever complained about when they were young.
Yes, I.G.Y. (What a Beautiful World) is the title.
Yet 69-73 were the ultimate years of classic rock.
