Why? I don’t want to kill the Iranian people. They have an evil regime.
They have even less say over what their government does than you or I do about the southwest border. We can at least criticize it without worrying that we will lose our head.
They can’t say crap. It is a mistake to paint them all with the same brush.
I don’t support abortion but for decades my government has used my tax money to fund it around the world and here at home.
Most Iranians do not support this regime and they live in fear going back to the Carter era when OUR government allowed the overthrow of the Shah followed by the embassy/hostage debacle. I would bet that it was less than 3% of the Iranian population.
We have a few “January 6th” prisoners and they have tens of thousands with more being added weekly who protest.
Some people believe that it was roughly 1 in 10 Americans that were hardcore supporters of our own revolution.
History is full of lessons FRiend. I like the Persian people and always have - they deserve better and they deserve support from our nation to win their freedom. They are NOT a radical people - they live in an authoritarian state governed by the worst faction of their religion.
“Why? I don’t want to kill the Iranian people. They have an evil regime.”
How about 9/11 and the thousands of victims of terrorism iran is responsible for since then? There should have been bombing runs over iran every time an IED went off in iraq and afghanistan.
There should be no bridges, power plants, oil facilities, etc. in iran.
But, hey, since it apparently didn’t affect you let’s just “give peace a chance”.
