Betchya if he pretended to be a "frozen vegetable" so he could get into the girl's locker room there'd be no problemo. When I was in school it wasn't unusual to see Black guys, 14-15yrs old from nearby Hillburn walking along Rt59 carrying .22s, making their way in the woods to hunt small game. Despite race relations being what they were, nobody gave it a second thought. And they had the sense not to even think of stepping foot on school grounds armed.

My high school had a rifle team, both .22 and large caliber. Archery team too. Just about as good a shot as the rifle teams. My principal would stop you in the hall and ask to see your pocket knife? He would check first that you had one, and second it was honed properly and sharpened.
