This is art, not a music video. You won't hear it on the radio. I've never really seen anything like this, especially from a single artist. It is music, acting, singing, directing, and live performance all wrapped into a video - like a one man live musical. I can't speak to this kind of talent, what did I just watch? LANGUAGE WARNING!
Also, "The Tale of Jenny and Screech" is a modern Shakespearian type of masterpiece.

No. I like MUSIC. What I heard of it wasn’t even music.
Give a clue to the punchline at the beginning, if you really want people to pay attention through the whole thing. My time is valuable.
Like first saying it is “art”? If you read the intro I gave enough that this isn’t typical...” what did I just watch?”.
2nd...if you watch the entire thing it is very powerful flowing into full singing.
Again, it is art...not a music video. I said that.

It’s incredible...then you realize it was done live on one take.
Did you watch the whole thing? It’s art...and requires immense talent. Ren has Lyme disease and has massively struggled with mental and physical illness, this is partly a reflection of that...but unless you watch it all...if you do, the talent can’t be denied. Even if not your cup of tea.

“Showdown at the House of Blue Leaves”.is probably my favorite piece of video.
Very original. Watched a few of his others. Really an interesting exit from his Lyme disease confinement. Hope he continues. Sort of reminds me of Dylan’s earliest days. People still say Dylan can’t sing, etc—but what an impact his very original expression has had.
This guy Ren has a lot to say due to having spent so much time pent up. Sounds like he had classical guitar instruction someplace along the line.

Yeah...I can’t imagine being couped up for years with an illness having such creative talent. Now it explodes.
It’s a live musical by one guy without a label to support him.
