I wondered about that too, why did this remark result in a panel of exploding heads, when he’s said worse in the past?
Then, I’m thinking, Don was already getting on everybody last nerve ever since he lost his prime time show a few months ago. Just 10 days prior, Don got very angry at his co host for daring to interrupt him on the air. He reduced her to tears. The whole studio saw it.
This was the last straw. They are tired of his Diva ways and fragile ego.
