It sounds like you were going to be OK the subsequent variations appear to be much less lethal the new original I had it very early and I take hydroxy Clore Quinn for rheumatoid arthritis and I barely knew I had it

Add also Xlear nose spray. Xylitol is a good remedy

For me a megadose of D3 at 900 IU per pound of body weight did the trick. I had already been taking zinc supplements and added Quercitin as prophylactic after but the D3 killed the bug in the course of a night. Did it for my daughter between morning and evening.

Daily from now on, or move to Jamaica and be out of doors a couple of hours every day with bare arms and no hat.

Where do you get the tabs?

I have to say the paste is pretty awesome. My arthritis has calmed down as well.

“Have you thought about going to a doctor?”
The only correct answer. Don’t trust your health to random folk on the internet.
In my 90 years of life, starting when I was in the sixth grade, experiences have taught me not to put my faith in doctors.

I did the Paxlovid. I can’t say I’d recommend it, it’s pretty harsh stuff. I came through it OK but had lingering effects for about 6 weeks after (weakness and foggy head). I was 64 with co-morbidities.

The most effective prescription treatment, if
monoclonal antibodies are not available, is Ivermectin,
but it must be prescribed, so you must find an MD who
will do it.

Depending on your particular virus variant, there may
be an effective monoclonal antibody. Consult the list
at the link below.

However, begin IMMEDIATELY:

All the following are over-the-counter

In order of importance:

1.Rinse nose, throat, with Povidone-Iodine mouthwash
(one name brand is Betadine. Check lable for Povidone-Iodine ingredient)
2.Vitamin A
3.Vitamin D
4.Zinc
5.Vitamin C
6.Aspirin

All these assertions may be checked against the
summary of all peer-reviewed studies found here:

https://c19early.org/

Consult MD for dose. But note in the peer-reviewed
papers published at the above site, therapeutic level
doses differ from nutritional-supplement level doses.

This is not medical advice and should not be construed
as such, consult Medical Doctor on all the above.

I’ve had it 3 times, maybe 4. Everytime I get it it gets easier and easier. For me COVID is just the sniffles AND NO TASTE OR SMELL.
__
The third time was a charm for me, Feb. 2023, most likely XBB, just a mild head cold, Dec. 2021 (Delta?), just a bad cold, Feb. 2022 (Omicron), put me in the hospital for two days after fighting it for two weeks. I refused Remdesivir but the Dexamethasone was what I needed to cool my immune response (Cytokine Storm).
The nurses told me to walk around the room as much as I could, helps keep the lungs clear. I didn’t feel 100% recovered until July 2022, long Covid? This last time I was ready, took Ivermectin (18.5 mg, twice a day) for five days with the first onset of symptoms. Just some head congestion and ears stopped up for a bit.

Paxlovid seems to help older folks but younger patients show no benefit. Patients taking Paxlovid can experience breakthrough symptoms after the first round (five days) but a second round usually works to clear the infection. There are side effects associated with Paxlovid because it is a combination of two protease inhibitors, similar for treatment to suppress the HIV virus. The side effects are generally mild except for rare allergic reactions.

You may notice mental deterioration beginning a week after symptoms clear, and it could get bad, like you can’t remember things you knew all your life, you miss bills, or even outright dementia symptoms. It is inflammation in the brain messing up the connections. Take heart in the fact there was a French study which showed on PET scans, the deterioration will be clearly detectible in the scans, but it passed in everyone except those who almost died by six months out. But you may have to deal with it. Get it checked by a doctor, but do not freak out and think it is all over.

OTC supplements include NAC and Glycine, NMN if possible, and maybe creatine. If you want brain-boosting, Citicholine, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Lions Mane, Phosphatidyl choline, or Rhodiola, all have some indications they help with dementia, though whether they help with the Covid brain fog is entirely unknown.

And always, Vitamin D. Be careful with zinc, as there is some evidence too high a dose might be associated with dementias in some cases.

But if you get the brain thing, which many do, don’t panic, and just accept you may have six months of bad times, but it will pass. It is probably not permanent.

I agree with what so many have written here about the horse paste, zinc, D, melatonin, NAC, aspirin, Pepsid, keeping as active as you can, hydrating, Mucinex, Amoxcillin, Quercetin, a few things that are escaping me. Hit it hard with a lot of things.

Also, add lysine, and at least 1000 units of vitamin C. CBD oil, perhaps some with melatonin to make sure you sleep at night a good eight hours straight. Vitamin Shoppe will Fed Ex overnight.

As far as foodstuff- use lots of garlic, chicken bone broth, put a lot clove in tea as well as cinnamon, star anise, manuka honey, and a pinch of nutmeg.

Get good sleep. Nap. But do make an effort to walk around your house a good bit every hour when not sleeping. If it is not too cold, take a walk outside. Take deep breaths and blow out up balloon a couple times an hour.

Doing very well. No headache, no nausea, no loss of smell or taste. A bit achy, a sore throat this morning that is gone, my congestion cleared up before Mucinex arrived but took a pill anyway. Except a 101.4 temp Thursday (?), it’s been normal - The highest now is 99.1 which is seldom. I’m taking Excedrin religiously to keep the fever down. Doubled up on the Quercetin, Zinc, Vit. C and D. I’m not even that fatigued. I did receive the confirmation from the lab that I do have Covid. thank God, so far, so good.
