Not massive, as these things go. Merely notorious because it was the mcguffin in episode lxviii of “Get Trump”.
The Democrats involved are petty grifters (Bidens, etc).
The big foreign money sneaking into US politics is Chinese, Russian, Saudi, etc. And the big money laundering centers are London, Cyprus, the Caribbean, etc.
But by far the biggest source of political and institutional corruption in the US is domestic. The “hub” is NYC.
