Perhaps the best song the Bee Gees ever put out.
Not a big single in America but it would have shot to number one had it been promoted here.

Spirits Haven Flown just looks like a typo so if you look at your link you will see what it is supposed to look like.

The name of the song is “Spirits (Having Flown)”, not “Spirits (Haven Flown).” You can ask the mode to change the thread title by clicking “Report Abuse” on your own initial post.

I don’t see a Bee Gee in that picture.

You're right; that song is uniquely excellent, certainly including the instrumentation. The BeeGees were brilliant performers, as was their brother Andy.
I once had the exceptional pleasure of hearing Andy Gibb live at Ford's Theatre at a performance honoring President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan. Andy had the audience spellbound--he seemed uniquely able to create a collective response from all the individuals in the room, timing his tone and phrasing to their feelings, instead of delivering a canned performance. The audience was stunned.
Here is the performance, introduced by his then-girlfriend, Victoria Principal:

I always found it odd they did not release it as single in the U.S. It had a decent chance of being what would have been their tenth U.S. number one (and they were just coming off six straight).
Anyway, it's one of their better album tracks.
