An old service buddy of mine took me to Wings franchise one day, it was the place that him and his daughter ate every other Wednesday while “bonding” after work.
I’m sorry, it was freaking gross and then my stew burner mentality forced me to go look into the back area... and they had a room with about 30 pump bottles (gallon sized) full of the different sauces.
So... they Deep Fat Fry your fabricated boneless wings and take the order over to one of the pump bottles and squirt some chemistry on it and charge 10 bucks... I just couldn’t believe it and gave my buddy so much s*** after that I don’t think he’s ever been back.
I seem to recall the Customs Service seized a load of wings from China some years ago. It turns out it was rat instead of chicken.
