Props to Mr Brooks for having the gumption to pursue getting the facts. The story said the NASTY Spirit employees were “suspended”. I sure hope that doesn’t mean they get to go back to work after a small “time out”. They deserved to be fired.

I had a similar thing happen at a London airport and was sent absolutely everything back, including keys, wallet, money and jewelry. I even told the woman handling it to deduct the price of sending it back from the cash in the wallet, and she took nothing over, and left the rest.
OK, it was 20 years ago. God only knows how it would be today.
