I feel kinda bad to see someone with a username from a very popular sci-fi series say that there’s no way that anyone or anything can travel faster than the speed of light. Maybe various alien species laugh at our “laws of physics.” What we see and hear that is called “cutting edge technology” is lagging behind what mega conglomerates, governments and the biggest universities have behind closed doors.
But God may have given them a couple of million years head start on us. They may have done the things we only imagine.
I’m not talking about magic faster than light, But Oumuamua isn’t even going a significant fraction of it. It’s creeping along at a relative crawl you’d expect a common rock to do. It would take thousands of years for it to reach the closest star, if it were even aimed in that direction. There are nuclear designs on the books we could build right now that would go much faster than that, if NASA had the budget.
