I always eat pork well-done so as to kill any trichina worms that may be lurking in my pork chop.
Trichinosis isnt a problem anymore as you are not allowed to feed garbage to pigs for market as that was the source. There are some exceptions and that involved literally cooking the slop before feeding to kill any parasite.
I enjoy my pork rare....
