Checkout's closed: Whole Foods FLAGSHIP San Francisco store closes after just one year because of rampant drug use in restrooms, violence towards staff - and theft of ALL 250 shopping baskets

One of the largest supermarkets in Downtown San Francisco has closed down just one year after opening due to widespread drug use, theft and aggressive behavior towards staff members.

Organic food giant Whole Foods opened a new 'flagship' location at Trinity Place in the city's Tenderloin district in March 2022, hoping to revitalize footfall after two years of draconian COVID restrictions severely impacted businesses in the area.

But a Whole Foods spokesperson declared the store closed down last night due to safety concerns for its staff.

'We are closing our Trinity location only for the time being,' the spokesperson said in a statement. 'If we feel we can ensure the safety of our team members in the store, we will evaluate a reopening of our Trinity location.'

A City Hall source told The San Francisco Standard the company cited deteriorating street conditions around drug use and crime near the store as the driving factors behind the closure.

DailyMail.com has contacted Whole Foods for comment.

It comes just days after Cash App founder Bob Lee was stabbed to death just over a mile away as residents flee San Francisco amid rising crime rates.

The Trinity Place Whole Foods store suffered problems from the moment it opened its doors in March 2022, with managers in October reducing operating hours due to 'high theft' and hostile visitors.

Good. Couldn’t have happened to a “better” city, or company.

. . . residents flee San Francisco amid rising crime rates.

And most of them will have learned NOTHING and take their idiotic voting habits with them.

From the article: ...a Whole Foods spokesperson declared the store closed down last night due to safety concerns for its staff.

It's doubtful that the store was closed for the safety of the staff. Something likely happened to a customer who then threatened to hold the company responsible for failed security.

People stabbed, drug use, theft, assault, etc.

All these are excluded from “gun crimes” which the left is fixated upon.

Once they take your firearms, every city will look like this and you will have no power to resist.

This is the typical scene at Civic Center BART Station (just a block from the now closed Whole Foods at 1185 Market St).

Yep.

Whole Foods needs to fire the guy who thought it would be a good idea to open this store in the first place.
