Whoever decided to build there to begin with should be fired. Crime was horrendous last year; drug use and addicts were present there last year; policies for dealing with those things were just as bad/lax last year and yet, Whole Foods decided to build a ‘flagship’ store? What a bunch of morons.

Exactly.

One is just asking for trouble when opening a business in a liberal controlled city. And it’s not like they opened it 40 or 50 years ago when the city was far better. They opened their store just a year ago when all of its problems were numerous, large, and obvious. Drugs, crime, homelessness, high taxes, onerous freedom crushing government regulations, etc, etc.

Thank you, Whole Foods, for providing 250 free shopping carts to the human trash in San Francisco.

Why can’t the state of California just place a massive order for shopping carts and have them delivered throughout major CA cities?

While they are at it, why not also order hundreds of thousands of tents, air mattresses and sleeping bags? Help the economy. Tents are the original “tiny houses.”

They should also deliver and service (daily) thousands of porta potties in those cities.

Gavin Newsom can use video of these “improvements” in California city life in his presidential campaign.

Newsom can then say, “This is what I will do for all of America if you elect me President.”

San Fran and California are one party rule entities. The dim politicians have zero checks and balances on them. This is the result. The have absolute power.

Lots of drugged-out druggies do that pose. It is simultaneously very sad, pathetic and infuriating that we cannot stop this.

How hard can it be to shut the border, execute the big dealers, long prison terms for small dealers, and bring the military down hard on the cartels? The fact that we do none of this tells me all I need to know about how Biden & Co get rich on decades of modest government salaries.

Good grief.

I spent a few years working in Baghdad and surrounding areas during the height of hostilities. I remember being so grateful that where I came from was much more peaceful and sane than what I saw there.

Now, I wonder how I’d feel about that.

People will steal everything if stealing isn’t illegal and punished.
I wonder which elite ivy league genius just made that brilliant deduction.

Not sure if it's fentanyl or not but I see these same "walking zombies" in NYC as well. They are hunched over while still standing or staggering and completely dead to the world.

Pedestrians have learned to just walk around them. Even the cops won't interfere. It's a sad thing.
