They're finally admitting it's a real problem? Because they weren't for a very long time. This has gone way beyond "hire more cops". What has to happen is a fundamental reconsideration of law enforcement precepts in city hall and in academia and in the media and in the citizens at large. It isn't happening.

Correct. We have a Subway in the county that seems to attract zombies driving through. No idea why they always end up there. The manager walks the parking lot and they’ll be passed out on the wheel so he has to call the cops. Most of the time, they are couriers.

This is status quo for much of liberal land. Next thing you know, the buns will break into the closed stone and pitch their tents (next to the liquor aisle). Some liberal judge will rule that all the tent dwellers have established ‘residency’ and have the ‘right’ to remain.
Can’t happen? Think again. During Covid, San Francisco placed the homeless in hotels. They actually delivered drugs and alcohol to the bums at the hotel.
I can just see some liberal judge ordering the store, even though it is closed, to keep the liquor aisle stocked so the bums occupying the store can ‘access’ the alcohol.
Same in every democrat run big city in the country. Zombies slouched over against buildings and light poles.
Why did they open this store in the first place? it would not take a genius to predict this outcome. You can not open a business in a jungle. Now there will be complaints about a food desert.
