A Tale of Two Whistleblowers
American Thinker ^ | Rajan Laad

Posted on 04/14/2023 5:27:14 AM PDT by Ouderkirk

Back in August 2019, which seems like a long time ago considering the rapidly changing news cycle, a whistleblower filed a complaint about President Trump's conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that occurred on July 25, 2019.The ball once again is in the court of the GOP.

/snip

Will they hold hearings about the shocking revelations by the whistleblower and hold the culprits accountable or will they look the other way and join the powers that be? A new poll revealed that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s (R-Calif) popularity has spiked since taking on the new job as Speaker of the House this year. McCarthy has an opportunity to push the popularity number even higher by leading the charge.

There is obviously a chasm of difference between what is needed to be done and what is actually done.

KEYWORDS: accountable; whistleblowers
I am soooo tired of this "hold the culprits accountable" bullcrap.

Until we see trials with guilty verdicts, jail time and executions for treason nothing will change.

This is bullshit. Think whatever you want about Lt. Col Vindman, but he actually did go through the proper channels and reported what he thought improper to his superior officers.

This current wanker E-3 kid posted top secret information he had no right to have just to impress some teenagers in his video game group.

Most of the time I agree with the Authors at American Thinker. This time I do not. This isn’t a tale of two whistleblowers.

This is a tale of a misguided 21 year old, that had access to information he probably shouldn’t have. This is a generation that doesn’t understand consequences, and believes it can leak information whenever it fits their political agenda. People are in the field, real human beings, and they are dying fighting for what they believe in. You don’t have a moral, legal, ethical right to through them under the tank treads. If he leaked or released information that’s harmful to the US, as an employee, he needs to be held to account. What he did was stupid and careless.

The second is the Vindman story. This is probably one of the most politically nasty tricks ever played on a POTUS, and a brazen attempt to cover up government graft. It was the ole miss direction, to prevent people from recognizing just how corrupt the process is. Joe Biden crimes, could have been uncovered, and that might have allowed the war in Ukraine that’s ongoing now to be avoided. We are there because Government individuals, and Democrats, want money and power so bad they will do anything. That includes continues stealing from the American Public, overthrow of elected governments, having the media lie in mass. Who knows.....maybe even release a biological weapon. I have more respect for a snakes than I do for Vindman.

From the comment section at the NY Post article below:

[Argument]: it was not Teixeira’s call to reveal any of that if it is true that those docs suggest US personnel are in that country

[Counter argument]: It is not up to government to lie to its citizens but they did anyways...

[Reply]: Then you file a whistleblower complaint. Write your congressman. Not divulge state secrets.

[Counter reply]: Then the public doesn’t know how government is lying to its citizens. All we heard is how Ukraine is winning, Russian soldiers are dying more than Ukrainian soldiers when government knew that was false but continued in the lies they tell us....

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene defends alleged US intel leaker Jack Teixeira

https://nypost.com/2023/04/13/marjorie-taylor-greene-defends-alleged-docs-leaker-jack-teixeira/?utm_campaign=iphone_nyp&utm_source=pasteboard_app

From Twitter: Just a few items confirmed by the leaked docs:

- Zelensky ordering attacks inside Russia
- Presence of US/NATO special forces in Ukraine
- US spying on top Ukraine officials
- Ukraine attacking Belarus

But everyone’s ENRAGED the government is no longer concealing these things

So, going to the DNC and a Democrat Congress critter before actually whistleblowing is "proper channels"?!?

Schumer is that you?!?

Another amazing double standard. DemocRAT whistleblowers good, Republican whistleblowers bad.

Here is another one. Remember Watergate? The RAT party initiated impeachment proceedings against Nixon for the following (From Wikipedia):

“Watergate came to encompass an array of clandestine and often illegal activities undertaken by members of the Nixon administration, including bugging the offices of political opponents and people of whom Nixon or his officials were suspicious; ordering investigations of activist groups and political figures; and using the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the Internal Revenue Service as political weapons.”

Sound familiar? The treasonous Biden Junta makes Nixon’s look like boy a boy scout troop.

You have no proof of what you say. These same exact words are coming out of Zeepers today and it reminds me of how the MSM reports in lockstep parroting the same words across the board.

Vindman? A total liar and ass. Vindman is deep state Biden regime RAT.

Sounds like Krosan is shilling for anti-American Vindman when based upon what you wrote no one should shill for Vindman.

Windman had his own ideas and he filed complaints. He didn’t even disclose anything secret. NOTICE that I don’t say here he is a good guy or was right.

This kid (enabled by the failure of his superiors) managed to get hundreds of top-secret documents and posted these to some internet nerd group to feed his own ego.

You are correct. For example, we have a smoking gun with Hunter Biden's laptop. Nothing, crickets.

There is no law anymore, just the oligarchs and the peons.
