The National Republican Congressional Committee quietly deleted a fundraising page Saturday that took aim at one of their largest donors, the parent company of Bud Light, Anheuser-Busch.
The NRCC’s back peddling follows conservatives calling for a boycott of the beer company after they partnered with transgender TikTok personality Dylan Mulvaney.
On Saturday morning, the powerful committee that provides support to Republican congressional campaigns blasted out a tweet calling for supporters to donate to the NRCC and, in exchange, be given a custom drink koozie.
“Thanks to Dylan Mulvaney, we can all finally admit that Bud Light tastes like water,” the NRCC said in a since-deleted tweet that The Daily Beast reviewed and can be seen below. “With our new koozie’s, you can make sure no one confuses Bud Light with real beer ever again.”
But shortly after it was posted around 9:30 a.m., the tweet was taken down. Later on Saturday afternoon, the corresponding fundraising page was also nixed.

I’ve long ago learned to never be a part of the GOPE-dope party. I am proudly unaffiliated.
I am not part of the GOOP nor a Bud drinker anymore. Bud was wrecking my health and the GOOP was taking my peace of mind. The so called boycott of Bug light is just a rebellion against being slapped in the face by the tyranny of the individual.
At the end of day a politician does not want to be separated from their money. That is the most important thing to them.
As is often the case, the views of the GOP establishment and the views of conservative voters are not the same when it comes to this issue. The politicians are concerned with donations and funding (in addition to criticism by the media) while the conservative voters are concerned about the cultural rot taking over our nation.
From The Daily Beast so this story heads back to the trash where it came from
Aldehyde formation in the liver is the main cause of hangovers. The secret is to NOT go to sleep after drinking a lot of beer but to stay awake and drink MANY glasses of water over the next several hours.
I don’t know what a koozie is, but I don’t think I want one.
Or forego it completely.
I find that to be much easier.
Never given a single cent to the RNC and never will. Same for any AB product.
No skin off my nose, and a really stupid move on the part of the RNC. They got in bed with the tranny agenda and AB rather than take a principled stand. How typical. And this is why I’ve called them the stupid party for decades.
At this point the Republican party deserves to lose in 2024. There’s no escaping that. They are completely unsupportable and I cannot find a single damn differentiator between them and the Democrats at this point. They racked up as much debt as the Democrats did during COVID and the Republican party loves big government as long as they’re the ones in charge of it. There’s no escaping that fact either.
I wonder how the Trump chumps will spin this Trump-led kneel to the Beast.
I’m waiting to hear Cindy McCain’s opinion before I decide where I stand on this issue.
/Sarcasm
The Republican Establishment in this case is the Trump family. Don Jr came out last night and said to call off the boycott because A-B are major donors.
More 4D Chess
obviously AB is putting pressure on the higher ups to control damage
I used to occasionally get Shock Tops, but no more.
And I don’t care if they donate to the RINOs either. I won’t support any company that pushes deviant behavior in our faces. I don’t care what these people do in their private lives, but keep it out of our faces and leave the children alone.
When Main Street has to start worrying about good policies being enacted because corporate donations may start flowing to the basest politicians out there, you know representative government’s days are numbered.
Factoring in the subtle deception of backstabbing betrayals the GOP is even more immoral than those who at least have the decency to stab me in the front.
