Yep, masks are a very common everyday thing. They wear them for things like pollution, colds, allergies.... Been doing it for years and years. Nothing special there.

Good summary. True virulent pettiness seems to be the province of the comfortable and secure.
Had a college prof tell me faculty politics was the worst. The savagery was inversely proportional to the gravity of the issue.

Wife and I are in Vietnam now and just got over a mild case of covid. Very many Vietnamese are masking whereas very few westerners are. Understandable given the way the country was slammed by COVID-19.

Raising Cane’s is absolute trash.
KFC is okay, but I grew up eating it in the 70’s and 80’s, so it’s just not the same.
Church’s is pretty good, if you get it fresh. If it’s been sitting for awhile, it’s very rubbery.
Popeye’s is okay as well.
