Does anyone do a cookie free site anymore? At least some let me opt out...some are obnoxious and won’t let me read unless I accept....is there a site which cleans out cookies from a website?
It seems like high precision radiocarbon dating means real known verifiable events are used as a comparator to the radio carbon reading. Doesn’t that mean that the radiocarbon dating method cannot be accurate by itself?

The Brave browser is basically the Google Chrome browser, but with all the Google spy stuff removed. It also blocks third-party cookies. It is my browser of choice on my PC and Android phone.
RC works fine, but the calibration has been integrated into dating for a long while now, because C13/C14 doesn’t accumulate in a uniform manner, the C14 varies a bit, and it’s already in small quantities.
Dendrochronology actually began before RC dating (which began in 1950), through measurement (and occasionally chemical analysis) of individual rings to match up different dead trees (and lumber) and put them into chronological order.
