Christine(RIP) made that group, unlike the whorish Stevie Nicks.

I’m not a fan of Stevie’s politics but the band went nowhere before she and Lindsey Buckingham joined it.

IMO, the best Fleetwood Mac song is “You Make Loving Fun,” also written and voiced by Christine McVie.

Fleetwood Mac's post "Rumours" albums are way overlooked for some reason.

Both Mirage (1982) and Tango In The Night (1987) are among their very best works. My personal favorite being Tusk (1979).

I guess when you have an album that sells 40 million copies (Rumours - 1977), everything after that is an anti-climax. Not for me however, I place Rumours below the three that I mentioned.

As talented as Christine was, Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham made Fleetwood Mac the superstar band they became. It almost didn't happen. Fleetwood Mac originally only wanted Lindsey, but he insisted on including Stevie as a package deal. The band was concerned that Christie would take offense to another woman joining the band so they all went out to a restaurant together to see how Christie and Stevie would bond.

Apparently they bonded just fine and the rest is history.

Thanks for posting!

The combination of different vocal timbres is magical. Haunting melody, a great hook.

I think this is one of their best, and I think all of their best songs were written by Christine.

“Everywhere” is background music for some tv commercial even as we speak!
