True, I never gave it a thought. But when I retired and started cooking a lot more it felt like the air in my small house was “bad”. After turning over every stone the last remaining one was my Samsung stove, all gas powered. High BTU’s. No ventilation out unless my windows are open (and that’s not always practical).
If I owned this home, I might have a proper vent a hood installed, but I’m renting. I’m just gonna replace my gas oven with an electric one.
Get an induction stove.
Faster reaction than gas, better control and about 15% less electricity used than electric resistance heating.
Safer.
Well DUH ! Why don’t you just get the proper ventilation hood installed.
Even electric needs a ventilation hood.
