American sprinter and Olympic gold medalist Tori Bowie has died at the age of 32.
'We're devastated to share the very sad news that Tori Bowie has passed away,' Icon Management Inc. said in a statement Wednesday morning.
'We've lost a client, dear friend, daughter and sister. Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We're truly heartbroken and our prayers are with the family and friends.'
This statement did not reveal or release the cause of Bowie's death. According to reports from TMZ, she was found dead on Tuesday in Florida.
The world of track and field began pouring out condolences to Bowie's family as they dealt with such a sudden loss of life.

More likely suicide or drug overdose. I didn’t see where the article indicated the cause wasn’t known (which is fair game for the shot). That means they know but are not sharing the detail.

World class athletes don’t generally do drugs, and speculation about suicide is just gratuitous speculation.
One is more inclined to believe that she just fell over dead, “suddenly”, until proven otherwise.
