Russian government officials are claiming Ukrainian forces attempted to kill President Vladimir Putin with a failed drone attack.
Officials say two drones were used in the "assassination attempt" at the president's residence within the Kremlin compound, but were disabled by Russian defense systems.
No injuries or damage to the residence was reported. Putin was seen in video and photos released Wednesday meeting with a regional governor outside Moscow.

Putin shows up in public even less often than Biden takes questions from the press. He reportedly spends a lot of time in safety bunkers and will only meet his top personnel, and even then it’s rarely in groups.
Also, I have only seen one of the videos, but the explosion didn’t seem very large. Someone suggested that it was shot down, but even if it was, a smaller explosion should have detonated any larger munitions, no?
I wouldn’t bet the farm that this is false flag, but something smells pretty fake about it.

The funny thing is, Was it the Ukrainians? Or was it someone in the FSB or Russian military? Even Putin is probably uncertain.
Ukraine could have infiltrated a drone team close enough to Moscow, but it’s also possible that this was a home grown assassination attempt now being blamed on the Ukrainians.
The problem in a nutshell: Russia is now ruled by an ex-KGB operative.
Neither Gorbechov nor Zeltin would have okayed an invasion of Ukraine.
For Russia’s sake, and the sake of world peace, this KGB thug should be replaced.

False flag or not what this does is escalate the conflict.
