What I want is this -
If weather/equipment/control/crew impacts your outbound - you get the “flex” reschedule treatment. You should also get a “flex” on your return - since you are now in a shorter time at your destination.

This will result in nothing but a tax on the consumer (the traveler). What happens when gubermint “taxes” corporations? Of course they pass on the tax, via increased prices, on whatever product (or service) they produce. Does anyone in their right might believe airfare will not increase because of this?
