Jamie Lee Komoroski sobbed how her life was ‘going to be over’ following crash that killed new bride: report

The alleged drunk driver accused of mowing down new bride Samantha Hutchinson on her wedding night complained how her “whole life is going to be over” as she sat in a South Carolina jail two days after the devastating fatal crash, according to a local report. Jamie Lee Komoroski at times questioned why “this happened to me” — while saying she felt like a terrible person at other moments — during conversations with her parents and friends, according to jailhouse recordings obtained by the Post and Courier. The 25-year-old, accused of killing Hutchinson, 34, when she crashed into the golf cart the newlywed was riding in following her Folly Beach wedding reception last month, was apparently inconsolable while on the phone with her parents.

Narcissistic piece of trash. I hope she gets life with no parole. Let her think about this for a long time

Well, only figuratively - the person she killed, on the other hand...

Drunk drivers are pure garbage.

She effectively ended two lives. That’s why we call this sort of thing a tragedy.

She’s a terrible person. She deliberately got herself ****faced drunk, deliberately got behind the wheel of a car, and then killed a person. Now she’s bemoaning her situation.

She deserves a very, very long prison term.

She deserves to be punished, yes. But do it in a way that points to the action as an example to others of what not to do. (Conviction)

Don't do it in a way that says she's forever guilty after serving her time with no hope of being in God's kingdom or assimilating back into society (Condemnation)

She is stating the obvious: Her life has changed in ways no one ever anticipates.

Remorse is good. Forgiveness comes from admitting your mistake and taking steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

In this case, that is going to come with financial ruin and a loss of her liberty either through incarceration or very restrictive probation. I would suggest she has tasted her last drop of alcohol.

25 is young. She will have plenty of time for a life. Its just not going to be the life she imagined.

No, no - thank God you're here to defend drunk drivers who kill innocent people minding their own business.

“Don’t do it in a way that says she’s forever guilty after serving her time with no hope of being in God’s kingdom or assimilating back into society.”

Who enters the Kingdom of God ain’t up to me. She can find Salvation in a prison cell just as easy as anywhere else. However, as I said, deliberately got herself **** faced drunk and then deliberately got behind the wheel of a car. That led to the horrific death of an innocent woman.

Now she’s wailing and moaning about how HER life is ruined. Not a single word about the life she ended or the grief of that persons loved ones. She’s a narcissistic sociopath, the exact kind of person who deserves to be locked away from society for our protection.

20 years sounds about right to me. She can find Jesus in a prison cell.

Well, that’s gonna put a dent in her OnlyFans business. She seems like the type who would make it her life’s goal to get out and try to date and marry poor Aric to “make it all OK again”. I would kill myself if I did that, and it still wouldn’t be enough. What a nightmare. This bride was beautiful on the inside and out. Aric will likely never mend from this.

Folly Beach?
Be careful what you do there. Like driving a golf cart in the street.

We all gathered in the cafeteria, a young lady was up there speaking it was alcohol awareness month and it was a nice story about going down to Virginia Beach and having a good time and then it shifted over to when they were driving back to Northern Virginia and they went over this flyover and flew over the flyover crashing into an automobile down below and killing all the occupants which was a family of four. Then she started sobbing uncontrollably as she tried to finish her story...

At that point a man stood up pointing his finger at her and started yelling that she was a murderer she ought to be behind bars or on death row “why am I wasting my f****** time listening to your f****** sob story because you’re a dumbass you f****** b****.”

Needless to say he was more that irrate and quickly escorted out followed by about ¾ of the audience who voiced expletives on their way out.

The following year during alcohol awareness month we had the State Police Trooper come give a talk on fact and figures...

Gee, I don’t know, maybe it’s because YOU made a choice to drive drunk and then killed someone.

Wow... do an image search on Jamie Lee Komoroski... party girl, and obviously an out of control alcoholic.

She did something awful. She didn’t set out to hurt anyone so I don’t put her in the same category as those who have real malice in their hearts. But she was totally irresponsible/selfish and she caused great harm. She will need to spend several years in prison to contemplate the life that was lost because of it.

Tragic.

” Like driving a golf cart in the street.”

The couple were riding in a “Low Speed Vehicle” essentially a street legal golf cart. Not much crash protection but that doesn’t excuse the drunk driver.
