It would seem that "news" covers a spectrum.
You've got your campus newspapers (all propaganda, all the time).
You've got your fake news, which dominates in terms of coverage.
You've got your tabloid news (which pretty much sums up this hussy piece).
You've got your local news (which is some real stuff, some puff and some fluff).
You've got your Fox Business channel, which 75% of the time is reporting real stuff (what value do people put on various engines of commerce).
And you've got Free Republic, where a person can glean what's really going on in the world, and what really matters here, now, and in the future.That, too, entails a spectrum which I think we mostly enjoy (or choose not to read)
Like I said, a spectrum exists.
But you already knew that. :)
