Maybe Ukraine needs to recruit the rioters to fight the Russians
Maybe the rioters who are Serbs are opening up a second front for Russia against NATO in the Balkans.
NATO troops are being attacked here in the US led KFOR.
It was a mostly peaceful riot.
Kosovo was so happy NATO BOMBED Serbia in 1998, they erected a statue of Madeleine Albright in their town square. That’s all one needs to know about who’s the good guys and bad guys.
This is the third anniversary of those “peaceful protests” in this country.
Not a lot of attention paid to them here so I guess it was up to the Serbs in Kosovo to commemorate them.

I suspect Russia might be behind this to distract NATO from their misadventures in the Ukraine.
I suspect that most of the NATO troops are European. So it was a bunch of Metrosexuals against a bunch of Serbs.

I’m pretty much finished with the federal government and the military. I say that as a 20+ year retired veteran.
Those aren’t NATO forces. Those are local police and UN security. And they had very restrictive ROE. That being said, I think Serbia got screwed in the “partition” deal coming out of the Balkans War of the 1990s, with Kosovo gaining “independence.”
NATO says 25 of their people were hurt Italians and Hungarians and that it is ‘unacceptable” (BBC News)
