The scientific/medical community and the government (the FDA and CDC to start with) has by their own hands have destroyed any reason at all that they ever gave people to trust them.

And trust, once lost, is near impossible to regain. At this point, IMO, unless there is some really radical change, I would say it IS impossible to regain it.

Peer review is a joke. It’s just the good old boys club high fiving and back slapping each other for holding to the narrative in spite of the evidence. There’s no objectivity left at all.

Peer review is a joke.

Indeed it is.

In the great book exposing all the vaccine fraud, dishonesty, and greed - "Turtles All the Way Down" - deals with this peer review con in some detail. The vast majority of it is just window dressing (about 80% IIRC) with no real deep analysis or confirming experimentation. Mostly paid shills (aka "experts") do it in their spare time for cash and put no real effort into examining the facts.

This certainly has been done with "vaccine" peer review in spades.
