Seems to me that Cleo was a Greek slave and who knows what the origins of Egyptians were? It seems that Egypt, being one of the most advanced civilizations at that time, would have been a melting pot for ethnicities. As such, they could have been black, white, oriental or anything in between. The slanted eyes in his (and other Pharoh) statues look somewhat oriental, to me. So does a lot of their art, with the vibrant and stark colors.

Exactly so.
I don’t know why people get so upset about ethnicity, anyway. We’re all God’s children and that’s all that should matter.
