This is where being a person of faith is an advantage. You have to face your faults and ask God for help. You are accountable. And you already know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, just as your daughter is.
As the mother of a beautiful daughter I soon realized when she was a baby that she was the star and I was merely part of her entourage. Not at all insulted by this though. I was proud and humbled that God had given this gift to my husband and me.
