As far as I am concerned, if a private company wants to get investors and give this idea a go, I would zero problem with it. I am against projects like this when the government subsidies start.
I have no doubt that somewhere, government subsidies are in the cards...

At least they are Norwegian subsidies...I hope! It wouldn’t surprise me one bit for the US to subsidize it.
