From the article....

Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett — pale in comparison to Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. DeSantis then claimed that although he appreciates the work of all three, he would select more ideologically conservative justices as president.

Where did he say that he “likes all of President Trump’s Supreme Court picks”?

Also from the article...

“In Florida, I inherited a very liberal state supreme court, maybe the most liberal in the country, very activist,” DeSantis told Hewitt.

“I was able to replace three of the four liberals my first month in office with conservative justices,” DeSantis added. “I’ve since been able to make a number of appointments since then. So we now have the most conservative state supreme court in the country. And so I think we have a really good track record on doing that.”

Pres Trump also inherited a liberal Supreme Court and shifted the balance to Conservatives, thus negating Roberts as the wild card, who took the place of that clown Kennedy.

And, again, DeSantis did all of that with a veto proof Republican legislature, Republican control in all but 3 counties, a strong Republican voter base. Basically, Republicans control EVERYTHING in Florida. A 4 yr old could do what he did with that kind of support.

He won’t have that luxury in DC, not that he’ll ever get within a mile of the WH anyway.

Instead, the wild card is a Trump appointee, Justice Kavanaugh. Some of us said that would be the case when he was nominated. Reportedly, he was Justice Kennedy’s pick to succeed him.

And RDS had rolled into the governorship after straight 24 years of previous Republican governors.

When he served in Congress, the House remained in Republican control. It wasn't until he left to run for Governor, that the House went to the Democrats.

Which is exactly what Florida wanted, and apparently Trump, as he endorsed him for governor. We've had presidents with strong majorities in both houses, and the only president who took advantage of it was Obozo. Point is, we elected our governor, provided him with super majorities, and he has used it as we voted for. Social issues don't scare him, and he does not entertain any anti 2nd amendment nonsense. Nor does the media scare him. Kinda sounds like he should be Trumps kind of guy. At least DeSantis attacks from the right.
