I haven't heard from anybody who is actually looking forward to Acolyte. And part of the reason is that Disney is going all out to make this a female-dominated series in every possible way. The LGBT crowd has been demanding "representation" and Disney is giving it to them. What normal person wants THAT?
I used to be as much a Star Wars fan as anybody else. But Disney has poisoned my love for it. I won't be going back to it again.

I have no interest in seeing a man playing a woman in ‘Star Wars’.
Just as I have have no interest in, say, seeing a turtle play Captain Kirk.

I wonder: what happens when a woman who can’t get an acting job as a woman decides to pretend to be a man so that she can then claim to be a trans person and get an acting job as a man pretending to be a woman, but she was really a woman all along...
