Trump has no plan to protect Medicare & Social Security from insolvency, and did nothing while he was in office to do so. His political rhetoric on this subject is garbage.

So ………. Exactly what is Trump’s marvelous plan?

Go to his website and look.

All attempts in Washington to "reform" entitlements like Social Security and Medicare should be viewed as nothing more than political and financial fraud -- carried out by political leaders who have demonstrated that they have no qualms about pissing away trillions of dollars on U.S. military campaigns in sh!t-holes all over the world while this country is falling apart.

For better or worse, Trump is going to drape this around DeSantis' neck. It's probably best that HE do it during the GOP primaries ... because otherwise Biden and the DNC are going to do it in the general election anyway.

“Well then you should show us your virtue, you don’t have to draw on it. But I paid into it and I will draw on it.”

I ain’t got no virtue. I’m just pointing out the system will fail. I’d have done much better with the money if I’d just invested it on my own. I’m pissed that the government doubled the amount of money in existence (The M2 number) again and again just to make Obama not look as bad as he really was. It was an invisible tax that cut my life savings in half and in half again. Then along came Covid and they added still more money when all they had to do was not close down the economy.

There is only one way to Permanently FIX Social Security.

Federal Legislation ABOLISHING ALL Taxpayer funded retirement plans. When they depend on it, it will be fixed, NOT until.

SS is a tax cut because most of us will have to work until we drop. That is how I view it.

“I will ALWAYS protect Medicare and Social Security for our great seniors.””

He campaigned on reducing contributions which would have doomed SS by 2023.

Without changes, SS benefits will be automatically reduced in 2032.

“I writing DeSantis on the ballot. Yep! You’ve convinced me. Voting for trump four times is more then supportive.”

In an effort to combat the economic struggles tied to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, Trump signed an executive order in mid-August that deferred payroll tax collection between Sept. 1 and Dec. 31. This deferral was designed to beef up workers’ paychecks for the remainder of 2020 but have those same workers repay what was deferred in 2021. Some states and businesses have chosen to opt out of the voluntary deferral program.

President Trump has also tossed around the idea of permanently eliminating the payroll tax, if reelected. This would allow workers to receive beefier paychecks but would remove the most critical source of Social Security’s funding. It should be pointed out that while Trump has mentioned the idea of eliminating the payroll tax on more than one occasion, no one else in his administration has taken the idea seriously, as it would leave a gaping hole in the Social Security program. Neither Democrats nor Republicans would be in favor of eliminating the payroll tax.

Reduce contributions while kicking can down the road.

Really, you want to go there? With desanctomonious and biden on the same page on Ukraine and all of biden's foreign policies? How about on the persecution of Trump, seems desanctomonious is on the same page with biden there too. In fact I could go on and on because desanctomonious is in lockstep with the deep state. That is why they support him for the gopE nomination.

Nice lies, but here are the FACTS:

DeSantis agrees with Trump on Ukraine.

DeSantis has been the most outspoken candidate on the ill-treatment of Trump by the DOJ and Bragg and others. DeSantis promised to fire Wray on Day 1

But let's review:

Trump/Biden - don't touch Social Security

DeSantis - we need to reform the programs or they will collapse

Trump/Biden - keep abortion legal nationwide

DeSantis - keep restricting abortion until it is gone

Trump/Biden - ban assault weapons

DeSantis - constitutional carry

Trump/Biden - both party with the LGBTQ+ crowd

DeSantis - taking on the culture war head-on

Meh, I’m a Trump fan, but the fact is, either we will raise the age, or there will be mandatory reductions kicking in, sooner rather than later, if we do nothing, like Trump seems to advocate.

So doing nothing is certainly not “protecting” Social Security and Medicare.

“The Social Security system was designed to do just one thing, supply a supplemental income to people who had worked and paid into it.”

No, it was designed to collect more taxes for the government, by setting the date you could collect on it at 65 when the average lifespan was 63. They just didn’t plan on modern medicine changing the variables of that equation so quickly.

Congress gives themselves generous benefits but the peasants are left with little crumbs. All congress does is keep raising the age to collect hoping you die and giving the money anyways to the illegals! A giant Ponzi scheme.

I signed up for Medicare recently. I emailed my relatives saying it was official, I am old...

I checked the amount of social security I could get at 66 years and 8 months which is a year and a half away for me.
It is $2,411 and if I wait till 70 years it will be $3,053
I have not decided to wait or not. I have stock investment where I can make more and savings to last decades.

I read articles about Galveston, Texas and other places that were able to invest back in 1981 before congress blocked everyone from doing the same as congress steals all the money and leaves an IOU. The plan would give you 50% more then social security!!!

“The uniparty opposes any reform to entitlement programs to make them solvent. “

You are wrong. Paul Ryan announced the “grand bargain” last year.

Entitlement cuts, carbon taxes, capital gains and corporate tax cuts, illegal immigration amnesty and higher legal immigration.

A grand bargain for both wings of the Uniparty.

The amazing thing is that DeSwampers support all this and then claim “Trump can’t win.”

The same Paul Ryan that Trump endorsed? Friend of Kevin McCarthy that Trump endorsed?
