Whatever he has, it's not Downs. There are recognizable, unavoidable effects of the syndrome on the physical development of the face and body that are caused by the fact that someone with Downs is conceived with an extra chromosome. For starters, the boy in that picture lacks the characteristic distortion of the structure of the eyes and mouth.
