Checking in before we all get crazy getting dressed for the wedding. It got hot here after my son and DIL arrived, so we’re blaming them for bringing the heat from Texas. Supposed to be cooler today.
I recovered from my illness and proceeded to stay up late partying with everyone the last two nights. Had a big bunch over yesterday for dinner and made a big batch of jalapeño poppers, eaten more by the Texans than the Wisconsiners, ha.
I met a lot of really nice people, one young mom and I had a great conversation about the educational system. Not political at all, but she is getting involved with the schools and I told her she’s not alone and things she can do for change.
