Melinda French Gates has shared she is 'very nervous about artificial intelligence' being 'baked with bias' because there is a lack of women developing such tools.
The comments appear to take a jab at ex-husband Bill Gates, 67, who is leading the charge for the systems and has faced sexual harassment allegations from former female staff.
'We don't have enough women who are computer scientists and expertise in artificial intelligence,' French Gates, 58, told CNN Thursday.
She continued to explain that the tech needs to 'take all people's points of view and see society and, quite frankly, see the world writ large as it is.'
The comments are the first time she has spoken about the systems her ex-husband believes are 'as revolutionary as mobile phones and the internet.'

Its not mens fault women don’t go into the hard majors.
They bend over backwards to get women to do so, but few do, and many of those few, don’t want to do the hard work of study in those areas. The answers in these fields aren’t based on opinions and feelings and personal relationships and societal trends.
Since men rank lower than women in the American leftist worldview — unless the men are gay — we can expect AI to favor women.
All it ever CAN be is “baked with bias” by whoever bakes it. Of course, we’ll be asked to accept all kinds of weird stuff on the ruse “AI is out of control” (we’re already being pre-softened to this idea) but evil human beings will be the culprits.
That should be the least of her worries about her ex.

Because they said it was a jab against Gates, and he was involved in vaccines, so he jabbed us.
As long as any AI can write programming better than BOB, then she should be happy. BOB was the one big piece of software she worked on at Microsoft before becoming Mrs. Gates. Released March 1995, discontinued early 1996. I remember downloading it, not too impressed and quit it a lot sooner than 1996.
She’s worried that an AI girlfriend will be able to outcompete a flesh girlfriend.
She may be right.

Gates has a long history of pursuing women for sexual affairs, as Slay News has reported.
The billionaire is also still at the center of controversy over his loosely-explained friendship with convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The news also follows an April report from Slay News that revealed Gates has been donating millions of dollars to an organization lobbying for children to be considered “sexual beings.”
According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, women who were interviewed for positions at Gates Ventures were subjected to an extensive screening process that included sexually explicit questions.
The screening was conducted by the security firm Concentric Advisors.
Female job candidates were asked invasive questions about their sexual histories, past drug use, and other private life aspects that could potentially make them susceptible to blackmail.
Some of the women were asked about their involvement in extramarital affairs, their preferences in pornography, and whether they had any nude photographs of themselves on their phones.
