The ‘60s was horrible for the country, but the Silent Gen didn’t really participate much in the hippie nonsense.
The women participating in cr groups in my suburban area were not college students but rather disaffected house wives in their 30s and 40s and former beatnik as well as women involved in the racial issues of the day.
